I have been playing bass, guitar, mandolin, and just about anything with strings for over 30 years. I have tons of experience on stage and in the studio.

As a trained educator, I have many years experience teaching music (and many other subjects including math, science, nature, computers and the Internet) to people of all ages. I have experience in the San Diego City Schools teaching "K through 8" and at SDSU and UCSD teaching "big kids." I am an expert at patient gentle teaching philosophy, and a true believer that music is a healing force that we cannot ignore. Our schools aren't teaching our kids music any more, which is worse than shameful.

I operate out of a centralized Ocean Beach location, and only offer lessons to students in the 92107 zip code at their own homes. I've played the Farmer's Market many times, perhaps you've seen me there in your wanderings around OB?
